Bilingual English/Spanish Science, Math and Literacy Teacher: MIDDLE SCHOOL and ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Tampa Bay International School, a Spanish immersion PK - 8 school in Clearwater, Florida, seeks a full-time bilingual Spanish and English-speaking teacher to serve as a lead teacher beginning on January 4, 2027. The successful candidate will serve as the homeroom teacher for our middle school class of 5th - 8th graders; teach science to middle school students in grades 5-8, math to grade 7 students, and Spanish and English literacy to a group of elementary school students. The successful candidate will be a patient, creative, and enthusiastic person who is adept at teaching academic content and has a background in science and math. We seek a teacher who enjoys working with children of diverse backgrounds and has experience instructing students in an educational setting. Tampa Bay International School is a bilingual school in which lessons and activities are conducted both in English and Spanish. The successful candidate must be highly fluent in both languages and able to teach academic content comfortably using both English and Spanish.

Monday - Friday
8:15 AM - 4:15 PM plus one day per week for faculty meetings 7:30 AM - 8:15 AM
Annual salary range $50,000 - $55,000
Salary may be increased through teaching in our afterschool program, tutoring students outside of school hours and teaching in our summer camp.
